In plain words. The short version: we know who you are (your email), whether your plan is active, and how many minutes you used a paid tool. We do not see your ads, your accounts or the pages you open. We run no ads and no tracking or analytics scripts.
What we keep
- Your account: email, name (if you gave one), a scrambled form of your password (we cannot read it), and the date you joined.
- Your plan: when your free trial ends, whether you have paid, and for how long.
- From the Dark Mode for Meta Ads Manager extension: a private connection key, the number of minutes per day a Meta page was open with dark mode on, the extension's version, your time zone (so “a day” ends at your own midnight) and a label for each connected browser, such as “Chrome on Mac”.
- Your price: we look at the country of your connection and the clock on your computer to show the right price (rupees in India; paid plans are for India first). We do not store your location. If a payment with a card from outside India is made at the India price, we note that on your account so you are offered the international price.
- Payments: the plan, amount, status and the payment provider's references (for the monthly plan, its subscription reference and whether it is active or stopped). Your card, UPI or bank details go to the payment provider (Razorpay), never to us.
- Technical: a scrambled form of your connection's address, used only to stop abuse (for example many sign-ups at once).
- On this website: if you choose Light, Dark or Device in the switch at the top, your choice is saved in your own browser. It is not sent to us.
What we do not collect
- The pages you visit, their addresses, or anything written on them.
- Your ad accounts, campaigns, ads, reports, numbers, pictures or videos.
- Screenshots. (If you press “Report a bug” or “Request a feature” in an extension, only what you type or attach there, and an email address if you add one, is sent. It goes to our feedback inbox through the form on creativebandits.app, another product of the same owner.)
Our other extensions
Today, the Dark Mode for Docs, Sheets & Drive extension itself needs no account. It stores only which of Docs, Sheets and Drive you turned on, and your Sheets colour choice, in your browser. Nothing you open is sent anywhere.
Who else is involved
Our website host (Vercel) keeps ordinary server logs such as your IP address and the page you asked for, to keep the service secure. Our database provider (Neon) stores the account data above. An email service sends account emails (welcome, password reset, trial and payment reminders). Razorpay takes payments. We do not sell or share your data for advertising.
Your choices
- You can disconnect any browser, change your password, or delete your account on your account page. Deleting removes your account, connection keys, usage and payment records from our system.
- Uninstalling an extension stops everything it does.
